Objectives
- To ensure that the security management of prison institutions is carried out efficiently and effectively in order to guarantee all aspects of security at all times
- To improve management of detention and the carrying out of sentences against offenders in the prison institutions based on the provisions of the stipulated acts and regulations
Functions of the Security & Intelligence Division
- To coordinate and ensure the administration of prison security
- To coordinate all activities/aspects of management of offenders
- To guarantee dynamic security
- To conduct intelligence and investigation
- To supervise the Special Prison Security Units
- To censor all classified information for internal and external use
Security & Intelligence Division
The Security & Intelligence Division consists of 2 sections:
- Security Section
- Intelligence Section
